Spring Wedding Inspiration Shoot Dorset
Wedding season is almost here! I’d like to show you a few highlights from a recent Spring wedding inspiration shoot Dorset. It was amazing to shoot at the Higher Melcombe Manor, which is one of wedding venues in Dorset. The weather wasn’t perfect, so we stayed inside the gorgeous manor house. And we managed to capture the soft, natural light coming through the windows.
The shoot was put together by a creative florist Oonagh from The English Florist, who also supplied the stunning wedding bouquets. We had some gorgeous looking models too. Caroline and Elke from Amazing Face did the beautiful wedding makeup and hair. Abbey Brides supplied the lovely wedding dresses.
It’s no secret that Spring is the season for flowers.
Here’s a tip: if you want to keep up with the trends for Spring 2017, make sure you select flower arrangements that look unpicked. Pantone 2017 has already chosen several Spring 2017 colours, and they are a perfect option for Spring! A good mix of different flowers and as unarranged as possible is the best decision you can make for your 2017 wedding. You should also incorporate greenery, they make your bouquet look more “organic”, again handpicked and fresh.
For 2017 and 2018 brides, romance is in and making sure that your photographer creates the soft lighting in your photographs whenever possible is a must! Tealights and string lights also add to a romantic setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. I loved the Abbey Brides wedding dresses supplied for our Spring wedding inspiration shoot Dorset.
Dusty pink roses, peonies and green leaves are truly beautiful options also. Why not create a floral bridal head crown that will capture your guests’ attention (tip: include a small flower/detail in the colour of your eyes here – it will make your eyes pop and could create some stunning images).
Leaving the best for last – and a very personal tip here – do bring your pet your wedding if you can! I know you want to!
The last tip here I promise! Make sure you choose the best wedding photography Dorset Hampshire you can afford. You need someone who can capture every special moment of your wedding in a beautiful, natural light. Feel free to get in touch if you need any help or have any questions xx
